End Crony Politics

This is about supporting core principles of democracy.

You can get on the Democratic City Committee by getting as few as 60 signatures (not VOTES) in your district. If you have no competition you can nominate yourself for the Board of Representatives. This process stunts the growth of the Democratic Party and limits its inclusiveness. This process has insulated certain Board members for DECADES.

It’s time to break the cycle of self nomination and elect new people not already on the Board of Representatives. Democrats United For Stamford candidates will expand diversity to more groups of citizens.

This election does NOT remove anyone from the Board of Representatives. Electing new voices will breathe new energy as we enter this new decade.
